Tracking and measuring your mobile in-app advertising campaigns’ performance is a must. It helps you determine if your advertisements are effective and getting desired conversion rates. In other words, if they are successful.

That is why Pocketmath PRO is integrated with many of the biggest names in the mobile attribution space like Adjust, Appsflyer, ApSalar, Kochava and HasOffers by Tune.

These partners track your in-app conversion funnel activities and send us a conversion postback each time a conversion event is detected. Postbacked conversion events are then reported on your campaign dashboard in real-time so you get to see the associated device, publisher and location information.

With sufficient conversion data, our machine learning optimization algorithm running in the background can learn and optimize your campaign toward your campaign objectives.

Setting up conversion tracking between Pocketmath and your Mobile Attribution Platform

Once you’ve determined and selected the conversion events on Pocketmath PRO, it will generate the corresponding tracking postback URL for the events.

Events Targeting

After which, you can take these postback URLs and set them up in your attribution partner as such. Your attribution partner will be tracking conversions (install or another event) using the SDK embedded in your app/mobile page. So, when a conversion happens, your attribution partner will detect and identify the events before notifying Pocketmath PRO via the tracking postback URLs previously set up.

What is an attribution window and why set it?

An attribution window refers to the defined period in which a publisher can claim that a click or a view led to a conversion. Let’s say you set a 30 days click-through attribution window for your App Install campaign on Pocketmath PRO. We will only record and report the install event if the install happens after a click event from the same user not more than 30 days ago.

Setting an attribution window enables you to filter out organic conversions – conversions not driven by your campaign. It gives you a more accurate measurement for your paid advertisement and allows you to understand how your mobile campaign is making a difference for your business.

The Pocketmath PRO platform sets a default click-through attribution window of 30 days and a view-through window of 7 days. Of course, you can change this if you have a different attribution window in mind.
